Vivo S12 series and a new Xiaomi phone have passed through TENAA certification.
Vivo S12 series is rumored to launch by the end of this month in China. While the company has not divulged any details about the device, leaks and certifications have revealed much about the phones.
Ahead of the official announcement, two new Vivo phones carrying model numbers V2162A and V2163A have been spotted on the Chinese certification site, TENAA. The TENAA listing does not reveal their marketing names. However, we speculate that these devices could belong to the Vivo S12 series. In a separate listing, a new Xiaomi phone carrying model number 2112123AC has been found on the certification site.
Vivo S12 series
According to a Chinese tipster, Arsenal, Vivo S12 will launch by the end of November. Around this time, Oppo is said to unveil its Reno7 flagship series. While Oppo is tipped to have chosen flat display for the next Reno series, Vivo has focused on the curved panel. Vivo S12 series will come as a successor to the S10 series, launched this year in China.
Vivo S12 series is said to include two devices – Vivo S12 and S12 Pro. The same Chinese tipster previously claimed that the company would mainly promote the Pro model. The vanilla model will be available in one color in its first sale, while the Pro model will be offered in three colors. We are nearing the end of this month. So, the company may announce the arrival of the Vivo S12 series anytime soon.
A mysterious Xiaomi phone carrying model number 2112123AC has been spotted on the TENAA regulatory body. The device has already passed through 3C and MIIT certifications. These certification sites have revealed that the Xiaomi phone supports 5G connectivity and 67W fast charging. The TENAA listing for Xiaomi 2112123AC does not reveal many details, as the listing is yet to be updated with specifications and images. The phone is expected to pack Snapdragon 870 SoC, a high refresh rate display, fast charging, and a high-resolution main camera.
